Dan Velasquez received his PA-C degree at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California, School of Medicine, Physicians’ Assistant Program, and completed his internship at J.P. Raber, M.D., La Mirada, California. Dan has received extensive training in Cosmetic Laser Surgery by Sciton Lasers and has received training certifications from Allergan, the makers of BotoxCosmetic®.
Dan leads an active life and loves his work. He is a loving husband who is very dedicated to his family. Dan has a wonderful personality and it shines through along with the many other great qualities he has. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and is a pleasure to be around.

Dr. Cecil C. Laqui specializes in internal medicine, rheumatology, industrial medicine, and medical aesthetics. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of St. Thomas, Manila, Philippines and was graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Med. He was graduated from the University of St. Thomas, Manila, Philippines with a degree of Doctor of Medicine. He did his three year post-graduate training in internal medicine and two year fellowship in rheumatology at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio with training affiliation with Case Western Reserve University Hospital and Veteran’s Administration Hospital, both in Cleveland, Ohio. He has had a very active and fruitful practice in internal medicine, rheumatology and industrial medicine in the West Los Angeles, La Palma, Hawaiian Garden, Corona, Riverside and San Bernardino areas. Over the last five years, he has concentrated his practice in Corona. Throughout his training and career, he has received outstanding comments from both his peers and his patients for his excellent bedside manner and care.
Dr. Laqui’s medical career is distinguished in his commitment to community services and his consistent dedication to raising public awareness on the value of preventive medicine, maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle and judicious interventional medicine. He has been a medical director for Tower Medical Group in Riverside, San Marcos Medical Group in San Bernardino, Corona Industrial Urgent Medical Center in Corona.and Metropolitan Oasis and Medical Spa in San Bernardino.
Dr. Laqui grew up and was reared by his aunt who was a general surgeon, an obstetrician and gynecologist. At a very young age, he was exposed to the medical profession as a clinic aide and assistant during his junior and senior years in high-school. As a college and medical student, he would assist his aunt in her surgeries, rounds in the hospital and out-patient clinic. The first five years of his medical career was an informal preceptor ship with his aunt, doing all her surgeries and deliveries.
Dr. Laqui enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, playing tennis, ballroom dancing and spending time with his family.

Dr. Shulze obtained his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry at California State University, Fullerton, then attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 2000. Following medical school he began his internship at the University of Southern California’s Multi-site Family Medicine Program. Completing the three year residency, Dr. Shulze was board certified in Family Medicine in 2003.
During his training at USC, Dr. Shulze practiced at the University Clinic. In addition to being a full service family medicine clinic, it also provided urgent care services and was the industrial health center for the LA County/USC Healthcare system. The University Clinic also provided all student health services to the Health Sciences Campus students. During residency, Dr. Shulze was an active physician in USC’s Center for Athletic Medicine. As the team physician for multiple local high schools, he provided side-line and post-game medical care for injured athletes. He was also an instructor in the Introduction to Clinical Medicine workshops, where he worked with medical students in various stages of training. He greatly enjoyed both of these activities and has been an active clinical preceptor for the Western University of Health Sciences.
In his final year of training, during a trip to his native Germany, he developed an interest in alternative and integrative medicine, which is much more prevalent in Europe. After clinical work with a physician at the UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine, Dr. Shulze pursued this approach to medicine by establishing an Integrative Medicine practice within the Santa Fe Springs Wellness Center. Ultimately Dr. Shulze went on to become board certified by the American Board of Holistic Medicine. This background has been exceedingly useful for him in all aspects of his practice as more and more patients are using herbal medicines and other alternative therapies. Dr. Shulze feels that a good understanding of these therapies and their potential benefits and risks, especially when used in conjunction with traditional western medicine, is the key to helping patients achieve their goal of wellness.
In 2007 Dr. Shulze joined Healthpointe Medical Group, Inc. and Cosmetic Laser Institute – a division of Healthpointe Medical Group, Inc. He has received extensive training and certifications from Sciton Lasers, Allergan – the makers of BotoxCosmetic® and Juvéderm® and BioForm, the makers of Radiesse® dermal filler.
His goal is to continue to provide exceptional occupational medicine services and continue his integrative practice promoting wellness in all aspects of his patients’ lives. He plans to become more involved with the Wilderness Medical Society and hopes to find time to devote to camping, mountain biking, surfing, and diving. Dr. Shulze enjoys treating patients of all types and continues to share his love for sports and healthy living.
